Outdoor Kitchens Made for How You Actually Cook and Host

A custom outdoor kitchen turns backyard cooking into something more permanent, built-in, functional, and ready for whatever the guest list looks like.

Your backyard deserves more than a grill on wheels.

An outdoor kitchen gives you somewhere to actually prep, cook, and serve without running back inside every five minutes. Premier Custom Landscapes designs and installs custom outdoor kitchens across Longmont, Boulder, Erie, Niwot, Broomfield, Fort Collins, Mead, and the surrounding Front Range — built as a real extension of your home, not an afterthought bolted onto the patio.

Thinking About Adding an Outdoor Kitchen?

Why we choose Bull Gills?

    • Made to live outside year-round. Weatherproof stainless steel construction that won't rust, warp, or fade under Colorado sun, hail, or winter freeze-thaw swings.

    • Cooks like it's meant to be used daily. Better burner and grate engineering means fewer hot spots and more consistent results than a big-box grill.

    • Rated for built-in installation. Not every grill is safe to enclose in a stone or stucco island — true outdoor-kitchen-grade appliances are designed and certified for it.

    • Backed by a real manufacturer warranty.

      • Lifetime: Stainless steel frame, housing, firebox, and solid stainless steel cooking grates (on select premium models).

      • 3 to 5 Years: Burners (varies by model, such as cast iron or welded stainless steel burners).

      • 1 Year: Valves, igniter systems, knobs, and interior lighting/electronics.

What Goes Into an Outdoor Kitchen

Grill Islands & Built-In Cooking Stations

The centerpiece of any outdoor kitchen is the island itself — framed in stone, stucco, or a veneer that matches your home's exterior. We build these around your actual cooking habits, from a straightforward grill-and-counter combo to a larger island with a side burner, sink, and built-in refrigeration.

Counter Space & Weatherproof Storage

Real cooking needs real prep space. We install countertop materials like granite, concrete, or porcelain slab, paired with stainless cabinetry and drawers engineered to hold up outdoors without rusting, swelling, or breaking down over time.

Pizza Ovens & Extras

For homeowners who want more than a grill, we build in wood-fired or gas pizza ovens, secondary burners, kegerators, and warming drawers, the kind of additions that turn a cooking station into a genuine second kitchen.

Granite vs. Natural Stone: Picking the Right Countertop

Not all natural stone performs the same outdoors. Here's how granite stacks up against other popular natural stone options:

Granite The most common choice for outdoor kitchens, and for good reason — it's dense, heat-tolerant, and holds up to Colorado's sun and freeze-thaw cycles with minimal sealing. It's also one of the more affordable natural stone options without sacrificing durability.

Other Natural Stone (Slate, Quartzite, Travertine) These bring more variety in color, texture, and pattern than granite, and can give a kitchen a more distinct, high-end look. The trade-off is durability: many are more porous and need more frequent sealing to resist staining and moisture damage, and some — like travertine — are softer and more prone to pitting or cracking through repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

We'll go over the trade-offs with you during your consultation based on your budget, style, and how hard the space will be used.
