This backyard started as a blank slate and unusable space, and we transformed it into a full outdoor living destination. From an outdoor kitchen and firepit to a custom water feature, concrete patios, walkways, and layered plantings and boulders, every element was designed to work together.

The result is a space built for late nights by the fire, dinners cooked outdoors, and kids playing well past sunset. Design by Helios Landscape Design

Outdoor Kitchen

Cook, gather, and entertain without ever stepping back inside. Featuring a Bull Grill and Big Green Egg set into custom stonework, this outdoor kitchen is built for real use, handling everything from quick weeknight dinners to weekend gatherings with ease.

Firepit Area

Built around a Warming Trends fire pit and finished with custom stonework, this gathering space extends the outdoor season well into the cooler months. It's a spot designed for long conversations, s'mores with the kids, and quiet nights under the stars.

Plantings & Boulders

Layered terraces and Colorado native plantings bring dimension to the space while breaking it into distinct, usable areas. Paired with natural boulders, the design feels grounded in the landscape rather than added on top of it.

Outdoor lighting

Vista Outdoor Lighting transforms this backyard after sunset, highlighting stonework, plantings, and architecture with warm, layered illumination. The result is a space that's just as beautiful and functional at 9pm as it is at 9am.
